Michael Gunteski was born and raised in Ocean County. He attended University of Scranton where he majored in Criminal Justice, with a minor in Sociology. He was a member of both the Criminal Justice and Sociology honor societies. Upon graduating in 2004, he continued on to receive his Juris Doctorate in 2007 at Seton Hall University School of Law located in Newark, NJ.
Upon his graduation in 2007, Michael secured a clerkship with the Honorable Honora O’Brien Kilgallen, J.S.C. in the Monmouth County Courthouse, formerly Presiding Judge of the Family Part. During his clerkship, Michael focused on all areas of family law.
After Michael J. Gunteski’s clerkship concluded, in 2008 he joined the firm of Jacobowitz, Defino, Latimer & O’Toole as an associate.
Thereafter, he joined the Law Offices of Toby Grabelle and eventually became a partner at Grabelle & Gunteski. Mr. Gunteski left that firm in 2013 and formed the law office of O’Toole & Gunteski, effective February 2013 to February of 2019.
Beginning in February 2019, Michael has been an attorney at Senoff & Enis.
Mr. Gunteski’s entire legal practice has been focused in the area of Family Law. I am licensed to practice law in New Jersey (since 2007).
Michael Gunteski a member of the Ocean and Monmouth County bar association. He is an Early Settlement Panelist in Ocean and Monmouth County. He is a member of the Family Law Section of the Ocean and Monmouth County Bar Association and has been called upon as a mediator in contested matrimonial actions.
Outside of the law, Mr. Gunteski enjoys spending time with his wife, 3 children and 2 dogs.
